TRADITIONAL ITALIAN WEDDING CAKES
The traditional Millefoglie is more dessert than cake, yet this delicious and spectacular centre piece has been the Italian wedding cake of choice for many years particularly in the Northern region of Tuscany where its origins lie.
Literally translated Millefoglie means ‘A thousand sheets’ referring to the multiple layers of flaky puff pastry which form the base of this dessert. It’s contrasted with a creamy crema pasticcera and chantilly cream in a choice of flavours and topped with an abundance of fresh berries.
Whilst the Millefoglie may seem a humble alternative to an artistic tiered wedding cake, the theatre and beauty of it comes to life as it is assembled ‘LIVE’ at your venue in front of you and your guests, making it a memorable moment of your special day!

Please note: I am based in Nottingham, England and generally cover a delivery radius of 1 hour. This covers the majority of the Midlands area.
A FLAVOURFUL THANK YOU
Did you know that Italy is the birthplace of favours? In Italian they are known as ‘Bomboniere’ a gift given to your guests at weddings, christenings, anniversaries and other large celebrations to say ‘Thank you’ for attending and being a part of your special day. Traditionally these favours contain five sugared Almonds each representing health, happiness, wealth, fertility and long life, the number 5 is significant also as it is indivisible symbolising a strong bond that cannot be broken.
In keeping with this tradition, I offer my own unique range of Almond biscuit favours for your special day. These consist of 5 Italian biscuits, that are bagged or boxed with your theme and style in mind. These can also be teamed with a special thank you card and message.
